My proudest accomplishment so far is being able to pull off a 4.0 during virtual and all throughout 10th and 11th grade. Even though times have been hard and very different I was able to maintain a 4.0 or better grade point average. Although there were times when I wanted to give up, I never did, and I was able to not just finish those years but with a great GPA.

During my spare time, I like to read. I love reading Urban fiction books most of all. My favorite author is Sharon G. Flake. My top three favorite books are Begging for Change, Bang, and The Hate You Give. I also enjoy doing yoga in my spare time.

Before high school ends, I would like to go to prom. I have been doing virtual for the past 2 years due to Covid, so I have not had much interaction with my fellow seniors besides going to the mall from time to time and video chatting. So, the one thing that I would like to do more than anything is the experience of going to my high school prom for my senior year so that I can have a great memory of high school since mine has been limited.

A hidden talent I have is the ability to design a room in my head as soon as I see it. I do not currently use this talent outside of school but I am planning to use my talent to design in the near future. I am actually planning to go to college to get a degree in interior design. Once I get my degree in interior design I plan to make a career out of it.

My favorite thing to do outside is walk. Walking is my favorite thing to do because when I am walking I am at peace. I love to take nature walks most of all to take in the fresh air and enjoy the scenery. Walking helps me to free my mind and just focus on the now. It is also a great form of exercise without feeling like I’m over excreting myself. I can go at any pace I want depending on how I’m feeling that day and just enjoy everything there is to enjoy about the outdoors from the plants to the birds. Walking is a complete peace of mind.

My favorite childhood memory would have to be when I was 7 years old. As a younger child I always took a yearly summer trip down south to Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana to visit family. This particular year we decided to do something else on top of visiting family. So while we were in Tennessee, we went down Beale Street which is this nice jazz street in Memphis and one of their most famous streets. After eating and walking around we decided to hop on a trolly which was a first for me so I was very excited. While on the trolly we ask the driver if he could suggest any places for us to go and he suggested we check out the National Civil Rights Museum. That museum was one of the best
